Classic books

I read a lot of books. More specifically I read a lot of young adult and new adult books. Sometimes I venture out into the mysterious world of adult fiction. However, I haven't read many classics. This is something that I get frustrated with myself about. I want to read more classics but there is always that new Y/A or N/A book that just sounds SO interesting that I push the classics to the bottom of my TBR pile. 

so I thought i'd share a few classics that I'm really interesting in reading and will hopefully get to sometime this year!

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin

Animal Farm by George Orwell

Tired of their servitude to man, a group of farm animals revolt and establish their own society, only to be betrayed into worse servitude by their leaders, the pigs, whose slogan becomes: "All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others." This 1945 satire addresses the socialist/ communist philosophy of Stalin in the Soviet Union.
